Peter Bourassa,
President
Mr.
Bourassa holds a BSC in Electrical Engineering, a BA in Economics and is a
state licensed Master Electrician. His father was an Electrical contractor and
he grew up in the business, starting his own contracting business (Bourassa
Electric) in 1975. He moved to Florida in 1984 where he helped start Stryker
Electric in Jupiter Florida. In 1985 he joined forces with Mario Garcia to form
Glebe Electric which in turn became Canam Electric in 1994.
Jamie Matt, Vice President
Mr.
Matt has over 30 years experience in the electrical contracting industry, the
last eleven as owner and president of JME Electric. Jamie is also a state
licensed Master Electrician and oversees all the large commercial projects. His
attention to customer service and expert knowledge of the electrical industry
has earned him a well deserved reputation as the “guy to go to in South
Florida”.
Efrain Freytes, Sales Manager LEED/Green Building
Efrain
has over 28 years experience in the electrical trade and 17 years in Project Management.
He also has an Electrical Engineering BSEE degree and an EIT certification.
Don Hudson, Lighting Sales - Institutional and Government
Don has just joined our team in 2009 and brings a wealth of experience in lighting conservation and design.
Ron
Foertmeyer, Senior Estimator
A
Master Electrician with 30 years experience in large commercial projects in
South Florida. Ron has estimating for many years and works in the Stuart
office.
Tom Giolando, General Superintendent
With 30 years experience in large commercial projects in
South Florida. The most experienced electrician in the company has spent the
last 9 years managing the field personnel from the Deerfield Beach office.
David Zubak, Purchasing Manager
Having started in the electrical field in 1988, David has over 20 years experience in residential and commercial electrical estimating and purchasing.
Field Personnel
Our employees have brought many
decades of experience in commercial electrical installations, Canam has the right
employee for the right job. Superintendents, foremen, electricians and helpers
all undergo regular training and review, with an emphasis on workplace safety
and code compliance.
